Welcome to the home of Nomadic Catering! We are an Edinburgh based street food caterer. Fancy fried chicken, hot sandwiches or donburi style rice-bowls at your next event? We bring the deliciousness of food trucks and the fun of a street food trailer to you and your guests. Whether you're planning a birthday, wedding, festival, corporate event, or even a film and TV production, we've got you covered.

When you choose Nomadic Catering, you can expect more than just delicious street food. We offer a range of services tailored to meet your needs. Our team of experienced chefs and event professionals will work closely with you to make sure your cravings are satisfied and your guests are happy. Fried Chicken

  • We can offer our food truck Wing Theory to serve Korean-style crispy fried chicken wings, boneless chicken strips and crispy golden fries. Our chicken is prepared for 24hrs in our house marinade before being hand rolled in a house gluten-free rub. Classic street food that every guest can enjoy.

Donburi-Style Rice Bowls

  • Our food truck Firebowl offers east-asian style street food specialising in donburi-style rice bowls with grilled beef, pork belly or tofu.

    Firebowl can also offer sides such as crispy vegetable gyoza and curry fries.

  • Available set up:

    Street Food Truck

    We require access to a power (plug socket will do) and water (outside or indoor tap).

  • Guests can create their own donburi style rice bowl. All bowls served with fluffy rice, spring onion, kimchi and sesame seeds.

    Highland Rump Steak (£2 supplement)

    Choose your sauce:

    Fire Sauce
    Sriracha

Flatbread Wraps

  • Middle Eastern and Mediterranean inspired flatbread wraps. Think sweet and spicy harissa honey chicken, succulent mushroom shawarma or delicious lemon-oregano chicken wraps.

    Optional sides include rosemary fries or our famous aubergine fries.

    Harissa Honey Chicken Flatbread

    • Traditionally baked Syrian flatbread, red pepper humous, harissa and honey marinated chicken thighs, salad, sumac red onions, garlic sauce, sriracha, pomegranate, coriander

    Lemon Chicken Flatbread Wrap

    • Traditionally baked Syrian flatbread, red pepper humous, lemon and oregano marinated chicken thighs, salad, sumac red onions, garlic sauce, sriracha, pomegranate, coriander

    Mushroom Shawarma Flatbread Wrap

    • Traditionally baked Syrian flatbread, red pepper humous, marinated portobello mushrooms, salad, sumac red onions, garlic sauce, sriracha, pomegranate, coriander

    With a choice of the following sides:

    • Aubergine Fries (Crispy fried aubergine sticks served with garlic sauce, coriander and pomegranate)
